Dr. Priya Mistry graduated with Honors from University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 2007. She practiced general dentistry until 2018, which is when she met her TMJ mentor - Dr. Arthur L. Parker.. She trained with him for three years before buying his practice in 2021. Her TMJ/TMD-only practice in Vancouver, Washington celebrates a 90% success rate in treating those who suffer from TMJD. Dr. Mistry fully recognizes the need to train other dental and/or healthcare professionals in the diagnosis and treatment of TMJ/TMD, which led her to create this course! She hopes to see you there so you can better serve your valued patients!

Course Objectives
1) Learn how to diagnose TMJ/TMD with confidence.
2) Learn how to communicate to patients about their condition and appropriate treatment.
3) Know which forms of consent and which contracts to present to patients.
4) Understand how/when to use TMJ orthotics vs. T-Scan 10/DTR for treatment.
5) Receive your OWN TMJ Orthotic and learn how to deliver one.
6) Learn how to make TMJ Orthotics and how to communicate with your dental lab.
7) Feel comfortable with hands-on treatments and therapies & know when to make appropriate referrals to other body workers or specialists.
** Soft tissue manipulation is a MUST with Dr. Mistry’s treatment methods and learning this is an essential part of the course and in practice.
** This course is for dentists who practice outside of the states of Washington & Oregon. This is because Dr. Mistry is wanting to make it so patients do not have to travel far distances to see her at her practice in Washington.
